This is another in a series of blog posts here on the site that spotlights one of our CD tracks. This is a preview from our “Prime Example” CD titled “Comedy Cookout.” In this short skit, which you can hear below by clicking on the YouTube video, two Christians are preparing to battle it out over who is right about the method of water baptism. This parable points out the futility of arguing over doctrinal differences when it causes anger and competition. While correct doctrine is important, public bickering over it is not productive when non-believers observe us fighting over small details.
This is what we call a “Skitbit,” meaning a short mini-skit, and many of them were originally produced for our national radio program “You Gotta Laugh!” and also featured on my podcast, “The Sheep Laughs Comedy Show.”
